Bombardier to Showcase its Leading Business Jet Lineup at ABACE 2016

Bombardier Business Aircraft announced today it will showcase three of its class-defining business aircraft at this year’s Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (ABACE) show at Shanghai’s Hongqiao airport in China from April 12-14, 2016. Bombardier’s Challenger 350, Challenger 650 and Global 6000 aircraft will be on display.

“ABACE is gaining momentum every year, and once again, we are delighted to participate in full force with three of our aircraft on display”, said Khader Mattar, Vice President, Sales, Middle-East, Africa, Asia Pacific & China, Bombardier Business Aircraft. “With a very strong fleet of more than 120 aircraft based in Greater China1, Bombardier is well-positioned to further reinforce its current presence as a world-class provider of efficiency-enhancing business aircraft in the region”.

“We expect China to be an active market in the next 10 years. Growth in the region will be driven by the medium and large categories of aircraft and the opening of airspace for civil aviation and significant investment in airport infrastructure should help increase the demand for business jets in China”, he added.

With the industry’s most comprehensive product portfolio and a commitment to customer satisfaction, Bombardier continues to grow its leadership position in the business aviation industry. From light jets to large, ultra long-range aircraft, Bombardier offers a solution to all customers, whatever their requirements may be.

Challenger 350 aircraft: The Challenger 350 jet boasts class-defining performance, a true seats full, tanks full, 3,200 NM (5,926 km) range that connects Shanghai to Jakarta non-stop *. The Challenger 350 jet builds upon the legendary segment defining clean-sheet Challenger 300 jet.

Not only does it feature the very latest in avionics functionality, but it also offers the segment’s most advanced cabin that maximizes natural light and redefines interior comfort and design sophistication, all while maintaining the performance attributes that have become synonymous with the Challenger family.

Challenger 650 aircraft: The new Challenger 650 cabin creates new levels of comfort, control, and convenience. It features a redesigned galley and seats, as well as an advanced Cabin Management System – including largest-in-class HD monitors; Audio Video on Demand and Bluetooth integration.

The Challenger 650 aircraft’s enhanced engines offer greater thrust, which enable shorter take-off distance, extra payload capacity or greater range capabilities out of challenging airports. With a true 4,000 NM (7,408 km) range capability, the Challenger 650 business jet connects Shanghai to Delhi non-stop.*

The Challenger 650 aircraft features the Bombardier Vision flight deck, providing pilots with new levels of control and comfort, in addition to increasing situational awareness and reducing pilot workload. This combination of capabilities provides the best value in business aviation: latest generation Flight Management Computer, Synthetic Vision System (SVS), MultiScan™ weather radar and available head-up display with Enhanced Vision System (EVS).

Global 6000 aircraft: The Global 6000 business jet offers more cabin volume and more floor space than any other aircraft in its class. Continuously meeting the travel needs of different customers, Bombardier offers Global 6000 customers the option of adding a shower to their aircraft—truly excelling in ensuring they reach their destination rested, refreshed and ready for the day ahead.

No other business jet in the ultra-long-range segment today matches the high-speed range capability and mission flexibility delivered by this aircraft. Offering the ultimate in cabin comfort, this impressive jet can link Shanghai to San Francisco non-stop with eight passengers and four crew*. It can travel 6,000 NM (11,112 km) at M 0.85 with eight passengers* on board.
